David Merriman is an ISA Certified Arborist (#RM0786A), a member of the American Society of Consulting Arborists (#2122) and holds a QS through the Colorado Department of Agriculture (Applicator ID #07448). He also holds a certificate in irrigation which supports his expertise in trees, lawn and insect/pest control.

He began work at the age of 10 with his father in Greeley, Colo., and now has more than 30 years of hands-on experience. He has attended the University of Wyoming, Tarrant County Junior College, and Front Range Community College, where he studied horticulture. He is one of the Front Range's leading arborists.
