This year, over 250 local Denver arborists and volunteers helped make Saluting Branches 2023 the largest Day of Service in the nation!

Together, we planted 42 trees, treated ash trees for EAB, trimmed and removed trees, and ground down stumps.

This is the first year that the Denver Fire Department Station 28 came out so that we could take a group picture in front of their truck.

Due to the overwhelming support of the volunteers and donations for Saluting Branches 2023, every volunteer was given 3 raffle tickets to put into a jar of their choice. Each jar was placed in front of donated items given by our sponsors. 

Saluting Branches’ Day of Service is a national one-day event where we take care of over 83 veteran cemeteries throughout the country. The 4,000 volunteers donated services estimated at over $4,000,000!

Thanks to Luke Killoran’s guidance, he brought the following local tree trade organizations to gather together to help grow Fort Logan’s Day of Service for Saluting Branches 2023:
