Proper pruning is a great way to maintain your tree’s overall health. While improving air flow and redirecting nutrients, pruning your trees is also a great way to mitigate storm damage. Decaying branches and weak limbs can make for an easy break in monsoon winds or during heavy snowfalls.
But ArborScape can help! Our arborists can assess your tree to see if it needs any preventative measures taken before it’s too late. Whether it’s removing a dead, hollow branch hanging over your roof or providing building and street clearance, our crews are here to help!
While our qualifications help us make the best decisions for your trees, accidents can still happen. For instance, no amount of pruning can prevent a tornado from taking out a neighborhood of trees. But in those instances, we’re just as qualified for storm damage cleanup as we are for trimming and pruning.
How ArborScape can Help with Storm Damage
Dealing with tree emergencies can be a daunting task, but here at ArborScape, we aim to help ease the burden. We understand the importance of prompt action combined with the trained knowledge required to handle delicate situations.
Our emergency tree services focus on safely removing fallen or hazardous trees or branches, which is crucial for protecting your property and preventing injuries. We don’t just remove the trees; our team also assesses the damage and advises on the best course of action, whether it’s saving a tree or removing it.
All our tree projects have at least two assessments done. First, by the estimator during the consultation, and then again by the foreman upon arrival at the job site.
All of our estimators and crews are arborists or are trained under certified journeyman arborists. This knowledge allows us to come up with the best course of action for the health and safety of your tree and property.

The estimator will diagnose the structural integrity and overall tree health to see what sort of equipment is needed to safely remove the tree or branch. The estimator will also take the layout of the property into consideration, such as outdoor features, neighboring properties, and potential utility lines that could potentially pose a hazard to the work.
After you’ve gotten a quote and accepted the work, our crews will do another assessment upon arrival.
The foreman will go do another evaluation for potential overhead hazards, changes in weather, and any other potential environmental concerns. The crew will also do a preliminary tailgate meeting to go over job safety protocols and establish drop zones and chipping areas. Then it’s time to set up the equipment, whether we need to use a bucket truck, rigging gear for climbers, or set up a crane.
Once our crews have gone over everything safely and efficiently, they’ll get to work. Upon completion of the project, we ensure a thorough cleanup of all debris, leaving your property in a safe and orderly state, and making it look like we were never there (aside from the storm damage cleanup, of course).
