Aside from expert tree trimming and removal services, ArborScape offers additional services that align with our sustainability practices. We believe that sustainability is important in making sure that we have, and will continue to have, the materials and resources necessary to protect us and our environment.
We believe that sustainability helps create and maintain the conditions under which humans and nature can coexist in productive harmony. We also believe that our additional services can aid in fulfilling social, economic, and other requirements of present and future generations.

Sustainable Business Practices
Besides helping trees, ArborScape has also tackled some of the issues other businesses in the industry have had in an attempt to practice sustainability in all aspects.
Since the beginning, ArborScape makes sure chippers and trucks don’t run excessively on site so as not to waste gas and emit more carbon into the air.
We also reuse available materials to fix necessary equipment and purchase specialty equipment parts in order to reduce our carbon footprint. More than that, we started investing and acquiring hybrid vehicles to cut on gas consumption. While that investment has been primarily on smaller cars, this is because there is an unfortunate lack of available bucket and dump trucks in the hybrid category. However, we hope to continue investing in solutions that work for our business and industry.
Another sustainable practice we love is reducing, reusing, and recycling the wood from our job sites. As arborists, our job as tree doctors is to help and save our community trees, so we try to reduce as much waste as possible through our additional services by reusing wood by turning it into firewood or mulch.
We even offer custom woodworking, whether it’s for us on our own time, or if you’re interested in turning your tree into something new! Leftover slabs of wood can be milled for a smooth finish, or left with a live edge for a woodsy aesthetic.
These additional services are designed with everyone in mind; ArborScape gets to skip the dump to avoid wasting good materials and you get the benefits of a healthy tree and a fresh indoor and outdoor landscape. It’s the little things that can help us all practice sustainability.
Our Additional Services
We use the wood from job sites to either leave for the customer to use or take it back to our yard to chop it up and resell as firewood. We have an assortment of hardwood and pine chords to choose from. We can have you pick it up directly from our yard or we can deliver straight to you for a small fee. Call us now to learn more.
We take pride in reducing waste through grinding urban lumber into mulch and coloring it so you can transform your outdoor landscape into a colorful atmosphere and keeping the natural elements around your trees.
Since we love trees so much, we love to get creative in our spare time with the wood left over from job sites. To maintain our sustainability goals, we’ve started to mill leftover wood for home improvement projects and products. Learn more about our custom wood working here.
While we try to be as sustainable as possible, sometimes we do end up sending wood that we can’t use to the dump. However, we don’t just go to any dump. After certain jobs, our crews go to A1 Organics, a yard debris recycling center that reuses organic materials in an effort to keep Colorado green!
