Aside from expert tree trimming and removal services, ArborScape offers additional services that align with our sustainability practices. We believe that sustainability is important in making sure that we have, and will continue to have, the materials and resources necessary to protect us and our environment.

We believe that working sustainability can help create and maintain the conditions under which humans and nature can coexist in productive harmony. We also believe that our additional services can aid in fulfilling social, economic, and other requirements of present and future generations.

Sustainability Principles

ArborScape addresses industry sustainability issues by minimizing chipper and truck use on-site to save gas and reduce emissions. In order to sustain these additional services, we repair equipment with reusable materials and invest in hybrid vehicles to cut gas consumption, though hybrid bucket and dump trucks are scarce. We also recycle wood from job sites, turning it into firewood, mulch, or custom woodwork for our enjoyment or yours. These practices help us avoid waste and promote sustainability, while benefiting our clients with healthy trees and beautiful landscapes.

Reduce

We reduce waste on sites by recycling or reusing wood from our jobs to make the most out of every tree.

Reuse

We reuse wood from job sites and cut it up into firewood for the customer or to resell. We also take chips from sites and turn it into mulch.

Recycle

We recycle wood from job sites to be repurposed as firewood or mulch and even in our woodworking shop.

Firewood

We repurpose wood from job sites as part of our sustainability services, offering it for customer use or resale as firewood. Choose from our selection of hardwood and pine. Pick up from our yard or opt for delivery for a small fee. Call us to learn more.

Wood Working

Since we love trees so much, we enjoy getting creative with the leftover wood from job sites. To support our sustainability services, we’ve started milling this wood for home improvement projects and products. Learn more about our custom woodworking here.

Mulch

We take pride in reducing waste through grinding urban lumber into mulch and coloring it so you can transform your outdoor landscape into a colorful atmosphere and keeping the natural elements around your trees.

Crew's Last Stop

While we try to be as sustainable as possible, sometimes we do end up sending wood that we can’t use to the dump. However, we don’t just go to any dump. After certain jobs, our crews go to A1 Organics, a yard debris recycling center that reuses organic materials in an effort to keep Colorado green!
